Payment Policy
Please note your total booking amount will be processed the day before or the morning of your check-in date. It may take up to 24 hours for you to see the transaction. Full payment of booking(s) is required before checking-in unless prior arrangements have been made with Motel Management

Credit Card details are required to secure the booking. A pre-authorization is required prior or on arrival. By providing credit card details, the guest acknowledge that the details may be used to take payment with or without the guest presence, should the below policies apply.

In consideration for the services and accommodation provided, the guest(s) acknowledge and agree that you are jointly and severally liable for all accommodation and other charges relating to the reservation. Where Credit Card details are held, it may be charged for all charges due without further specific authorization. E.g. Damages to the property, smoking fine.

For cash payment, guests are required to show a photo identification and a deposit bond of NZD 300 on arrival. This will be collected as a cash payment. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full in cash, subject to an inspection of the property.

Payment Methods:
Burwood Motel accepts the following forms of payment: EFTPOS, Cash, Visa and MasterCard.

Please note that there is a non-refundable 2% surcharge when you pay with a credit card.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation or amendment of individual bookings must be notified no later than 48 hours prior to 1pm on the expected day of arrival to avoid a cancellation fee.

All cancellations or amendments notified less than 48 hours prior to 1pm on the expected date of arrival will incur a cancellation fee of full days accommodation fee.

If you fail to arrive for your booking you will be charged full days accommodation fee.

Any cancellation fee charged will be refunded if we are able to re-let the unit(s).

Cancellation of Group/Team bookings must be notified no later than 30 days prior to the expected date of arrival.
Cancellations for Group bookings must be in writing (standard or email) direct to the motel.

Cancellations received after the 8 week deposit are subject to forfeiture of the deposit.

Any cancellations that arise within one week of the group booking will be subject to an administration fee equivalent to the rooms that are unable to be let as a result of the late notice unless management approve.

Check In Policy
Check-In Policy:
Check-in is available between 2PM to 9PM on the day of arrival.
Check-out time is before 10AM on the day of departure.
Early check-in and/or late check-out is by arrangement only, and additional charges may apply.
Age restriction: The minimum age for check-in is 18 years old
